Do you and the person you ride bikes with always want to ride the same bike at the same time? Quit squabbling, there’s an easier way. Hand-built from Reynolds 531 tubing in 1979, this extremely well preserved Jack Taylor tandem (serial #7615) is equipped with top of the line components, a hand-lined Piet Mondrian inspired paint job, and 48 spoke @philwoodandco hubs. The frame was fillet brazed, and the joints between frame tubes were sanded and shaped by hand. The wheels are 27” and the bike is suitable for a pilot that is around 5’8 and a stoker who is around 5’6. The drive train is Sugino Mighty, the brakes are Mafac, and the shifters are Campagnolo. The rear tire does not hold air, and repairing that flat requires removing the drum brake. The front light needs a new halogen bulb. Otherwise this green machine is ready to roll.
Sold as is in the Bike Shop. 30% of the proceeds will go to @gazasunbirds.
